Tara Clawsie is a dedicated Manufacturing Technology teacher at Paris District High School with over 20 years of experience in technical education through the Grand Erie District School Board. A licensed Mould Maker and graduate of St. Clair College, Tara has also worked as a Technologist at Fanshawe College while pursuing studies at Western University. Committed to lifelong learning, she has completed numerous professional development programs in welding and additional qualifications, and is currently in her second year of an Honours BA in Psychology and Human Rights at Wilfrid Laurier University. Tara is an active member of the Canadian Welding Bureau and the Canadian Tooling and Machining Association, and volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and youth sports. Outside the classroom, she enjoys gardening, golfing, biking, baking, and spending time with her family and her dog, Snoopy.
